Air-Cond

We may delay the installation of an air-cond unit. I don't know why but I was brought up to think that sleeping in an air-cond room is something very luxury. I guess I haven't feel secure that we can have the luxury yet. But I did do survey on the air-cond unit. Air-cond is notorious in making the electric meter jump rapidly. So, getting a unit which claim to be able to reduce the energy consumption is expected. Panasonic has been promoting this Panasonic Inverter unit which claimed to be able to reduce energy consumption by 20%. Its more environmental friendly and has the ionizer functionality. The price is a bit more expensive than other brand but if it really can save our money on the electric bill, I don't mind paying extra at the very beginning. I have even learned from a forum on choosing suitable HP of air-cond for your room. My room will need a 1.5HP air cond. They said if we use a lower HP air-cond for a bigger room, this may cause the energy consumed to increase. How true is this?

Fridge and Washing Machine

I have been eyeing on this 350Litre LG Fridge which costs around RM1450. Its a very simple 2-door fridge which I find it very suitable for us. It won't be too big or too small. Just adequate for our consumption. Many hypermarkets and electrical appliances outlets have this 0% installment scheme. I guess we would be 1 of the customer who will swipe our credit card to bring the fridge home and later on pay the installments faithfully. I guess 6 months is will be alright. Washing machine is a must. I am not very sure about the type of washing machine that we need. Is 6.5kg sufficient? Or 7kg? A fully-automated machine is what we are looking for. I haven't decide on the brand. How about LG? I guess we should set our budget for the washing machine to anything lower than RM800. Should go to outlets other than hypermarkets to check out the price. Will there be any difference?

Ceiling Fan

I have been checking on the price of ceiling fans lately. I checked the KDK brand. It costs RM269 per set. It will burn a hole in my wallet if I were to install 6 sets in my house. Carol who just moved into her new house pointed out that her set of ceiling fan cost only around RM120. Not bad... If we can afford it, I plan to have all 4 bedrooms intalled with 1 unit of remote-controlled ceiling fan. And another 2 units for my living room cum dining corner. Eric said he would give a ceiling fan unit as gift for us. Hahaha!! Thank u! Hope you won't forget your promise. I guess we will opt for the silver metal type color. Modern and simple. 1 thing not sure is how to have the unit installed. Can DIY? Should ask dad about this. Might as well fly dad over together with his tools to help us!
