Am I happy?

Yeap, I have a fair share of fun times at work. Colleagues are great! They are great in making you losing blood at a very extreme pace. I might be complaining of having iron deficiency, but deep down, I feel happy working with them. Less stress! Eventhough the expenses of working there higher and to be increased(parking rate increased to hourly rate), I started to feel comfortable working there. Every now and then, there will be makan sessions. Yes, most of them are kaki-makan. They know where to dig for nice foods. I never been to Klang for BKT, they brought me there. I never been to Teluk Gong for seafood, they brought me there. Looking forward to having more makan sessions with them. Yummy!!! Btw, TY still have another voucher in hand. That means we are going to King Crab again this weekend! Yes!

Four-Legged Shrek

Well Well Well, I have brought my green stool to office already. It is staying overnight there for like a week already. I guess it is doing great. My colleague who sits next to me, said it looks like Shrek. So there it goes, Shrek! Sometimes it's kinda cute to name things around us. Aiksss! I have yet to name my laptop. It's not cute thus I didn't have the tendency to label it with a name. But I have an idea in mind regarding the cosmetic things of my laptop. Hehehe!! How about label it with stickers? Nyek Nyek Nyek!!!

Oh ya! I had my piggy babe's butt smacked last Friday nite. With what? A big 'tong'! Yes....I was blaming the sensor but in fact I ignored the sensor's alarm. So the consequences, a small spot of paint came off. LOL! Last Saturday, I had my piggy babe's body covered with SPF-60. Finally, manage to apply sun block lotion to my piggy babe before her full moon. Piggy Babe, I hope you and I will be the best partner! Muaks Muaks Muaks

Trip to IKEA

We went to Ikea last Saturday. I was tricked by the Ikea sales advertisement in the papers that showed plastic bins on sale at RM9.90 each. Before we even enter the upper floor, I saw a "SOLD OUT" sticker pasted on the plastic bin printed on an advertisements there. "Gig sei ngo lah". It was my third time there but my first time that I bought something. Haha! Asking why I went there the previous 2 trips? Eat-Full-Nothing-Do and get some inspirations loh... This time I bought 2 items only.

I have been thinking of getting myself a small stool to be used as my leg rest at office. But this Mammut stool I got from Ikea is just too cute that I reluctant to bring it to office. It's only RM19.90. It's still sitting nicely in the room. Let's wait till I got bored of it, then I may consider taking it to office to be left there over night. But hey hey hey...it's really cute...I'm thinking of buying another 1 or 2 stools as collections. You may think I'm xiao but cannot meh???? Somemore, they do sell the chairpads which look so cute on the stools. Getting crazy edi!

I bought IRMA throw, a very soft light blue material at RM15. Have been eyeing on that throw for quite sometime. Finally made the purchase. A throw can be very comfortable for me when travelling in the car, as a blanket and also something for me to hold on. I'm thinking of getting a cushion cover to store my throw so that I can just leave it the car like that. I know I might not have used the throw as a throw but who cares.

Q & A

I don't know about others, but my very own dad has the habit of repeating questions. He can keep asking the same question from time to time until the case is closed. Why am I talking about this issue in my 'Home Sweet Home'? Because I realized that in every phone call conversation we had, he definitely will raise this question, "When will your house be completed?" Eventhough I had told him zillion times, I will still give the same answer without fail, "Beginning of next year". See?? Because I know he has this habit, therefore I didn't kick up a fuss. It was the same when I bought my car. He asked several times when I will get my car. So, I answered several time, 'End of next July'. When I got my car, he never ask about this again. So, I guess I need to repeat the same answers right until I got the key of my house. LOL!!! No...he's not very old nor has any Alzheimer disease. He's just 55 only. If he's under the influence of alchohol, situation got even worse. During 1 dinner period, he can ask the same question 3 times. Can you imagine that??? But we already knew this. That's why things that he promised or said during night time might not be valid. LOL! He tends to forget it the next morning. I bet it's because of too much beer all these years. No wonder he kept telling me that drinking alchohol will cause my brain become 'lembap'. And I always defend by saying, you haven't become 'lembap' also after all these years of drinking. HAHA!

Air-Cond

We may delay the installation of an air-cond unit. I don't know why but I was brought up to think that sleeping in an air-cond room is something very luxury. I guess I haven't feel secure that we can have the luxury yet. But I did do survey on the air-cond unit. Air-cond is notorious in making the electric meter jump rapidly. So, getting a unit which claim to be able to reduce the energy consumption is expected. Panasonic has been promoting this Panasonic Inverter unit which claimed to be able to reduce energy consumption by 20%. Its more environmental friendly and has the ionizer functionality. The price is a bit more expensive than other brand but if it really can save our money on the electric bill, I don't mind paying extra at the very beginning. I have even learned from a forum on choosing suitable HP of air-cond for your room. My room will need a 1.5HP air cond. They said if we use a lower HP air-cond for a bigger room, this may cause the energy consumed to increase. How true is this?

Paints (Part 2)

Correct Painting Flow

STEP 1: CeilingsAlways paint the ceiling first to avoid dripping on walls and floor. For an even coat, paint across the short width of the ceiling.

STEP 2: WallsPaint borders first and work downwards. It is advisable to start from the brightly lit areas near to windows and paint away from light. This makes it easier to see where you have just painted.

STEP 3: Window and DoorBefore you start, mask areas not to be painted like hinges, knobs or latches. For windows, paint the inner frame fisrt, the other frames last. For doors, paint any moulding first, then the panels, the horizontal and vertical segments and the edges last.

STEP 4: FloorPaint the floor last, after the walls and trims have dried thoroughly. To get the best results, ensure you vacuum and wipe the floor clean of dirt before painting.
